Business Development Manager
• Responsible for achieving Primary & Secondary sales targets, channel management and Marcom Activities for the assigned territory.
• As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible to develop sales plan and budget for your assigned area for achieving sales targets. You develop and bolster an efficient network of dealers/ distributors for projecting expected sales volume and profit for different products. You also motivate the team to open up new retail opportunities.
• You have a managerial oversight on a team of sales executives and sales officers in your area that will help you in implementing marketing and sales promotions and thereby accomplishing sales targets.
• Develop annual sales plan and budget for the assigned area to achieve sales objectives of the company.
• Generate sales and achieve annual sales target by driving a team of Sales Executives, sales officers and through distributors in the area
• Ensure optimum utilization of resources by monitoring and controlling sales budget in the area.
• Conduct regular market visits to understand market trends and find new opportunities to grow sales.
• Develop and maintain efficient dealer/distributor network by providing information on new & improved products and ensuring availability of products in the area.
• Ensure merchandising and promotions are available for Marcom plan implementation.
• Implement and evaluate marketing communication and sales promotion for assigned districts.
• Schedule and assign sales activities to sales team and be responsible to motivate and review their performance.
• Track competitor activities & report to Business Manager.
Business Development Officer
• Responsible for achieving Primary & Secondary sales targets, channel management and Marcom Activities for the assigned district.
• As Business Development Officer, you are responsible to achieve sales targets in you assigned districts with a team of sales officers. You help establish and maintain a network of distributors, dealers and retailers.
• You execute the sales strategies and promotions. Your understanding of MS Life’s product and operation knowledge helps in providing satisfactory resolution of customer complaints. You are responsible to collect and collate sales data for analyzing and evaluating success of strategies.
• Responsible for achieving the sales targets set for each of the area.
• Generate sales of company products through a team of sales officers and through efficient distribution network.
• Establish a good network and relationship with distributors, retailers and customers and promote MS Life brand.
• Possess excellent understanding of product knowledge as well as company policies and procedures of the organization.
• Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage and competitor activity.
• Handle customer complaints towards satisfactory resolution.
• Implement sales promotion and strategies by way of liaising with ASM who will ensure support from the marketing team.
• Follow up with warehouse to ensure adequate inventory stock.
• Collect, collate sales data and enter in the system/document the same.
Sales Officer
• Responsible for Sales Targets for the assigned locations & retail network expansion.
• As Sales Officer, you are responsible to accomplish the secondary (retail) sales targets given to you. You also expand MS Life’s presence and penetration in the market though effective coverage and conversion of retailers in the assigned set of districts.
• You exhibit excellent understanding of MS Life’s products and sales process and hence are equipped to handle customer complaints in a satisfactory manner.
• You also support the promotional activities planned for your assigned districts.
• Adhere to assigned PJPS and submit daily reports.
• Identify suitable retailers to coverage of assigned districts.
• Handle dealer counter sale and effectively convert customers.
• Demonstrate excellent understanding of product knowledge.
• Be fully aware of sales process and follow the same.
• Handle customer complaints towards a satisfactory resolution.
• Implementing sales promotions by liaising with sales executives.
• Ensure appropriate display of promotional material at POPs/POSs.
• Maintain a database of current and prospective customers
