We, at MS Life Steel, strongly believe that being human is a given, but keeping our humanity is a choice. And the same spirit of reaching out has helped us take small steps to do our bit for the society.

Our initiatives:

Meal-Per-Ton - Started with a vision to provide nutritious and adequate meals to the underprivileged, our Meal-Per-Ton initiative is a food donation program where we provide one meal per ton of steel sold.

At the moment, we are serving up to 6,000 meals a month across South India and we have found valuable partners in several orphanages, schools for students with special needs, non-profit old age homes and organizations like the Sri Sathya Sai Nitya Anna Seva and ISCON who help us in this endeavor.

In fact, a lot of our dealers also come forward to help either monetarily or by donating resources these organizations need like fans, water purifiers, groceries etc.

The Devnar School is one such beneficiary and, in the years to come, we hope to expand our reach and touch more lives.

Medical camps and blood donation drives:

Another small initiative is in the field of health care. Every year, we conduct medical checkups at our factories like blood & sugar tests and special medical camps for our employees to ensure their sound health. Last year, we did about 10-15 such camps across all our factories. Along with these initiatives, we also have a doctor on call to attend to the medical needs of our employees. We also conduct blood donation drives in association with St. Theresa’s Hospital blood bank and encourage our employees to be a part of it.

We also run medical camps for masons to ensure their good health and to encourage them to take care of their well-being. These small steps help us remember and spread the idea of reaching out and going beyond business to touch lives.

Supporting Construction Workers impacted by On-site accidents

We care for those who help us in building the nation. Our insurance covers all the masons who support MS LIFE voluntarily. We also take care of their medical expenses in case of any unfortunate incident.
